In 2005, two Pennsylvania State University professors, Dr. Vanden Heuvel and Dr. Blake Peterson, realized a high level of demand for their collective expertise in nuclear receptor biology, toxicology, medicinal chemistry and molecular biology to establish the core platform technology of INDIGO.

The method, called CryoMite^™, provides long-term cell cryo-preservation for shipping and storage. This allows scientists, working to develop new cures or therapies, the convenience of readily available and robust cell-based reporter assays on demand. INDIGO offers more than 50 nuclear receptor assays for scientists engaged in the discovery and development of novel therapeutic agents.

The new look will be on display October 14-18 in booth #311 at the International Society for the Study of Xenobiotics (ISSX) in Dallas.
